i don’t get why so many furries pooh pooh the amount of sexuality in furry.
yeah there’s some freaky furry shit out there but how does that even effect me or you or anyone in any way at all, ever? because of guilt by association? ok, in that case, we are all guilty of genocide, because hitler was a human and so are you. you monsters. wait, no that doesn’t make sense, because guilt by association is a fallacy so gross that even the scarcest thought on the idea will quickly lead to its utter dismissal forever.
i mean, i still get notes that i’m sure are well meant but are instead massively instulting, about what a shame it is i have to waste my ‘talent’ on porn, and how i’ve been denigrated to the status of porn artist.
oh, poor me, i get to sit here and draw porn all day, this sucks? wait, no… it’s awesome. i like porn and sex and sexual imagery. i like drawing it. my job is awesome. (also, i do draw things that aren’t porn.) so then, what, it’s unfortunate that i don’t draw something else with my skills? like what? oh wait, that’s just another way of saying “i wish you drew what i wanted.” way to be entitled as fuck! or maybe what’s meant is that i should draw something, what, more elevated? or ‘intelligent’ or ‘artsy’? oops, except that every single instance of creative expression is art, no matter what the content is or the emotion evoked*, and these people just haven’t realized that yet, and now i’m the focus of their ignorance. yeah, people love that, when they are held to some half-thought, shame based worldview, that’s something people love. that’s something people really fucking love.
these people are part of one of the most progressive fandoms ever and they’re going to complain about it because some DA micro brain bullies make fun of the fact that furries are sexually liberated, ok fine, enjoy living at the will of others in a cloud of fear-shame. also, keep it the fuck away from me, you are antique nightmares from bible world hell, and you don’t even realize it.
